Ring in the New Year with Simply Ali!!

Wow it's hard to believe that 2012 is almost over. Ali and I wanted to celebrate and welcome the New Year with all of you! So we have asked a few blogger friends and authors to tell us what resolutions they are making for 2013 or what is coming up for them.

Ali will be hosting a grand prize of Simply Ali T-Shirt and Swag!!

Our first guest is the fabulous Bunny we all love, a great friend not only to us but to the romance community as well!!

Joy from Joyfully Reviewed

When I was asked to write up a New Years Post, I immediately went into panic mode. LOL. I am a planner and if I put those plans in writing, then I will send myself into a tizzy trying to make sure those plans come to fruition, come hook or crook. This year, I think I am going to resolve to not put so much pressure on myself. If I can do something, I will do it, if I can't then I won't beat myself up over the fact that I can't. This is the bane of a Capricorn's life, we want to do everything we put our minds to and consider it a failure, to ourselves and others if we can't achieve said goal.

What I am looking forward to this year is taking Joyfully Reviewed to the next level of Romanceness (yes, that is a Joyism). I want to share more of my convention experiences with the readers and lovers of romance, in addition to gathering authors & publishers to share their books, experiences, contests with our readership. How will I do that you ask? Joyfully Reviewed will be rolling out...drumroll....Blogging with Joyfully Reviewed!!! Yes, that is correct, we will be BLOGGING! I share on Twitter & Facebook but I wanted to bring more of the awesomeness (teehee) that is Joyfully Reviewed to an even larger audience. Look for more information to come in regards to that project soon.

2013 means to me, more time for me to spend with friends & family as well as sharing my love and enthusiasm of the romance genre with the world!
Joy is hosting a giveaway at Joyfully Reviewed right now you have a few more hours to enter to win some fabulous books!

Release Me: A Novel
by
Julie Kenner

He was the one man I couldn’t avoid. And the one man I couldn’t resist. Damien Stark could have his way with any woman. He was sexy, confident, and commanding: Anything he wanted, he got. And what he wanted was me.

Our attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as I ached to be his, I feared the pressures of his demands. Submitting to Damien meant I had to bare the darkest truth about my past-and risk breaking us apart.

But Damien was haunted, too. And as our passion came to obsess us both, his secrets threatened to destroy him-and us-forever.
What a Goddess Wants (Forgotten Goddesses)
by
Stephanie Julian

In his arms, her magic powers are on the rise...

Tessa, Etruscan Goddess of the Dawn, is desperately fighting off a malicious god, but her powers are weakening. She needs a hero and fast, because only sexual energy can give her strength. So she seeks out Caligo, whose sexual prowess is legendary...

And she's the only one who can bring him into the light...

Caligo is a fabled Cimmerian warrior determined to stay away from spoiled goddesses who trample hearts after they've had their fun. But there's something irresistibly hot and inviting about Tessa, and he knows he's her only chance to escape the encroaching darkness...
Temptation's Edge
by
Eve Berlin

Mischa Kennon isn’t one to take it lying down, at least not until she meets sexy Connor Galloway , a green-eyed Irishman with an air of authority she finds hard to resist. While performing duties as maid of honor to her best friend, Mischa indulges in a casual relationship with Connor. She’s surprised by the thrill of his dominance, and lusts for more feisty battles before surrender.

…over the edge

It’s all fun and games in the BDSM Pleasure Dome Club, until Mischa realizes Connor could master her heart.

…and into temptation?

If she gives in to desire, will it be too much to handle, or will it open her to a kind of love she never thought possible?

Cool. I love reading about experiences at conventions because I have never been to one. I tend to have panic attacks in crowds so I am working on this so that I can attend a convention in the future.

Good luck with your resolution, Joy! I completely understand how you feel when not finishing things (Capricorn also). I realized a few years ago that the world will not end if I don't complete something on time or at all. Lol. It took many years to get myself to believe that though.
I hope you have a wonderful 2013 year!
I look forward to your blogging. ;)
Thank you for the great giveaway too.
