I didn’t make it in until almost midnight Friday, so I missed out on the Pizza Party and Pictionary, which I heard was great fun. Instead, I had a very late dinner and fun chat with Joy (@JoyfullyReviewd) and Melissa (@mimmibklvr).
One thing I love about this get together is that it feels more laid back than other cons. I woke up late (no surprise there) and went down to register and get my raffle tickets. Raffles! (Yes, I have an unhealthy addiction to raffles, lol). Sadly, I didn’t make it to any of the panels that were going on, but I still had loads of fun.
After a nice lunch, it was time for the book signing :). Would you believe me if I said I didn’t buy any books or get anything signed? Yeah, I wouldn’t believe me either, lol. I bought several new books, got them signed, and even took pictures!
Next, it was raffle time again… and I won three prizes! Whoo-hoo!
For dinner, I got to step out with Joy, Melissa, Susan (@SusanMik1), Virna DePaul, and Amy. We chatted about books and I received so many great book recommendations that I had to buy online right away, lol. During dinner, I saw a tweet that I had won another raffle prize!
Um, I actually ended up with more than I had planned… so, even the extra bag I brought wasn’t going to be enough, eek! Therefore, I am now the proud owner of a pink polka dotted suitcase that I had to buy at the airport, lol
As usual, I brought extra goodies home to giveaway. A part of the goodies I’m saving for something I have planned for later this year, mwahaha… but, I do have something to giveaway today, too!
