Check out T.J.'s Hot Upcoming Release, Silk Road!
Silk Road
Seals of Destiny, Book 1
Urban Fantasy, Parnormal
June 2012
The first Descendant in millennia with the power to use an ancient artifact is being hunted. By the good, the bad...and the worst.
Jayla Protegenu learned as a child to call her protectors to keep at bay the things that prowled the night. Now, as a woman grown, she never expected one of those protectors would be a Fallen angel named Larien. His job: to help Jayla find the mythical and mystical Seal of Solomon.
Even among those who created the very meaning of good and evil, nothing is black and white. Neither friends nor enemies are what they appear.
The only one Jayla can be sure of is Larien. He was sent by the Messenger and archangel, Gabriel, himself. He's a man who had no interest in redemption. But like everyone else, Larien does want her.
Ali: Is there an author that makes you go all “fangirl?”
T. J.: Angela Knight. I totally lost my cookies when I spotted her in an elevator at the last RT. She was so gracious and didn't even laugh at me when I yelled into the phone (I was talking on the phone at the time), "Oh my god, IT'S ANGELA KNIGHT!! OMG, she's in the elevator with me! Holy hell! Hi Ms. Knight, how are you?" *faint*
Ali: If you could co-write with another author who would it be and why?
T.J.: I would totally love to write a book with Lauren Dane, 'cause she's just been so cool since I met her years ago. Her characters and worlds are unique and I've learned alot from her over the years. I'd also love to write with R.G. Alexander/Rachel Grace for many of the same reasons. I haven't known Rachel for as long, but she's an awesome person and one of the most gifted writers I know.
Ali: What are you looking forward to most about AADNola?
T. J.: ZART pub crawl/party! Woooo!
Ali: The world is under attack and you are forced to run for your life. You only have room for one book in your survival kit, what book do you take?
T.J.: The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead
Ali: Are there any of your secondary characters you would like to give more life to?
T.J.: Actually yes. The James brothers in Jaguar's Rule deserve some attention. They are fully human hotties that helped their brother, Aaron, save our shifter heroine, Reya, from a really bad guy. I've plotted out a book for the two older James boys where they get to meet up with twin African lioness shifters from Spirit of the Pryde.
Ali: If you friends were asked to describe you in one word what would it be?
T. J.: Firecracker...though I'm not sure why *wink*
*Favorite color: Royal purple
*Favorite food: Crab!!
*Boots or heels: Heeled boots *cheese*
*eReader or Print: eReader
*Beer, Liquor or Wine: Wine. Port, actually.
*Favorite place to get it on besides the bedroom: Get it on? What's that? Not sure I remember how... ;D
*Favorite TV Show: Nothing, really
*Favorite Book series (besides your own): That's hard. Right now, I'm hooked on Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series.
*Pj’s or Lingerie: PJs
*Vampires vs. Shifters: Can I have one of each?

Hi, T.J.
I too have my own fan reality moments but I have gone one better at times to connect the person on the phone with the author in question! It makes for quite a fan moment, believe me.

Hey Laura! I'm preparing myself for total fan moments at AAD this year. Joey Hill is one of the authors I read when I first got published at EC six years ago. She'll be there and I'm thrilled! Major 'squeeee' moment!
Hi JoAnna ;D
Glad you enjoyed the interview. Bummed you won't make it, but we'll be sure and take lots of pics and stuff to keep you up on what's happening while we're there. Hugs, chicklet ;D
So glad you like the cover, Felicia!
Maria pronounced Mariah,
Now THAT's what I'm talking about! They're like shoes, why take one pair if I can have both?

LOL I've never been to a convention or a signing-- living out in the boonies-- but when I do I'll remember what you did in the elevator. BAHAHAHAHAHA I always end up rambling when I meet new people, but I've never screamed:)
I love your cover, and the story sounds VERY cool.
Love the cover and sounds great. Thanks for the giveaway.

I've met Angela Knight twice, and she is so sweet. And Rachel is just a doll. :)

Thanks so much for the cover love, ya'll! I'm cheesing so hard over that danged cover yet cowering because I know I"m going to open up my inbox and find edits in it! LOL!
Raonaid - purpleholic? TOTALLY!
If any of you are ever at a convention that I"m attending be sure to look me up. All you have to say is SIMPLYALI and I'll remember for sure.
By the way, Ali has been fabulous to me from the day I first got published. Thanks all of you for being so danged cool!
Great cover! I sympathize with your "elevator moment." I have the opposite reaction - I can't speak-no words will come out - so I just smile and say nothing at all...then later regret not speaking. What can we do? :)
Have fun at AAD!

Have to say, TJ, that's a really smart choice of book to nab under those circumstances! Woot!

OMG - I love the tshirt!
I would probably go fangirl on Angela Knight too - I loved Fox & Feral (and the whole Protect and Serve series).
Silk Road sounds really good. I'm off to read more about it!
Awesome interview ~~ and I totally agree on Lauren Dane, AND Angela Knight!
I'm always amazed at how ALL that awesomeness fits in those little brains, lol. Shouldn't they be larger than life?
I love the elevator story!
I have a tendency to stare and blink when something fascinates me or catches my attention its okay until that something is a someone... and that someone is a really hot guy. lol I think I would prefer to scream then be the creepy girl blinking :)
thanks for the chance to win
