Simply Ali Spotlights Stacey Kennedy!!

Today Simply Ali welcomes Author Stacey Kennedy to her Authors After Dark Birthday Bash!!

Take a look at Stacey's hot new release,
Demonically Tempted

Demonically Tempted by Stacey Kennedy

Frostbite, Book 2

Urban Fantasy Romance

Tess Jennings, now a member of the Memphis Police Department, is on her first cold case. The suspected suicide of Lizbeth Knapp ten years ago isn’t a theory her family accepts—they believe she was murdered.

But the case is only one of Tess’s worries. Ghosts are talking, and word of her abilities rapidly spreads. A dark ghost is terrifying the spirits of Memphis, and she must force the entity to cross over.

Tess doesn’t have to do this alone. Not only does she have her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowen, but the department has brought in a medium. Dane Wolfe might answer all her questions, but he also brings a world of trouble. Will Tess finally have all she’s ever wanted, or will everything she’s vowed to protect be ripped away?

Ali: Is there an author that makes you go all “fangirl?”

Stacey: Jeaniene Frost. Oh, I will so go fangirl on her at AAD!

Ali: If you could co-write with another author who would it be and why?

Stacey: I’d love to co-write a book with Katie MacAlister simply because I love humor. I think writing alongside her would be a total blast and I’d enjoy every darn minute of it. I’m a big fan of hers!

Ali: What are you looking forward to most about AADNola?

Stacey: Meeting everyone I’ve gotten to know on Facebook and Twitter. There are quite a few people going who I’ve become friends with since I was first published, so it’ll be really great to finally put a face to the Twitter avi.

Ali: The world is under attack and you are forced to run for your life. You only have room for one book in your survival kit, what book do you take?

Stacey: Any of Keri Arthur’s books. I’m a huge fan of her Riley Jenson Guardian series. And I’m over the moon that she has her new Dark Angels series out. It’s fantastic!

Ali: Who are your favorite literary characters? (Yours or someone else’s)

Stacey: Jeaniene Frost’s, Vlad. He is by far my favorite character that I’ve ever read. I adore his dark humor, alphaness, and just overall yumminess! To say I’m excited for his book to come out is really saying it lightly. I drooled over him in the Night Huntress Books.

Ali: Are there any of your secondary characters you would like to give more life to?

Stacey: Pretty much every single secondary character in my Magic & Mayhem series that’s coming out Summer 2013. I enjoy spending time with them all and do plan to write quite a few spin off series.

But I also wouldn’t mind writing a novella of Zach and Caley from the Frostbite series. There is something pretty special about those two. And I do think it’d make for a fun story!!

Ali: If you friends were asked to describe you in one word what would it be?

Stacey: Down-to-earth.

*Favorite color: Blue

*Favorite food: Chocolate

*Boots or heels: Boots with heels!

*eReader or Print: Both

*Beer, Liquor or Wine: Beer

*Favorite place to get it on besides the bedroom: Anywhere possible!

*Favorite TV Show: Supernatural

*Favorite Book series (besides your own): Dark Angels series

*Pj’s or Lingerie: Depends on my mood

*Vampires vs. Shifters: *gasps* Both! I could never pick one.
