Take a look at Blood of the Demon by Rosalie Lario
Demons of Infernum, Book 1
Entangled Publishing
Paranormal Romance
Keegan lives to exact revenge on the evil demon who sired and abused him. When his father devises a plan to bring on the apocalypse, he and his three half-brothers, interdimensional bounty hunters for the Elden Council, are charged with capturing and delivering their father for punishment.
Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she’s also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon’s Most Wanted List.
And no one wants her more than Keegan’s father.
Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he’ll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics—the far deadlier, uncontrollable half—when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks. The one woman he’ll never be able to resist.
Ali: Is there an author that makes you go all “fangirl?”
Rosalie: Jeaniene Frost. I only discovered her in January 2010, but her characterization is unbelievable. Bones is just about one of the yummiest heroes I’ve ever met.
Ali: If you could co-write with another author who would it be and why?
Rosalie: The concept of co-authoring a novel frightens me. I just don’t know where I’d start.
Ali: What are you looking forward to most about AADNola?
Rosalie: Besides the people I’m going to meet, it’s visiting the city. I’ve been to Nola on several occasions, but it was always during Mardis Gras. I’m looking forward to seeing the city under less crazy circumstances. :)
Ali: The world is under attack and you are forced to run for your life. You only have room for one book in your survival kit, what book do you take?
Rosalie: To Tame a Highland Warrior by Karen Moning. The dreamiest hero ever!
Ali: Who are your favorite literary characters? (Yours or someone else’s)
Rosalie: I love Cat, Bones and Justina (Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series). Seriously, they’re awesome.
Ali: Are there any of your secondary characters you would like to give more life to?
Rosalie: My favorite secondary character from my Demons of Infernum series ended up with his own novella (Heart of the Incubus). I’ve got a few ideas for upcoming characters, though, so we’ll see.
Ali: If you friends were asked to describe you in one word what would it be?
Rosalie: Probably nerdy, lol
*Favorite color: Wine
*Favorite food: Chocolate, of course!
*Boots or heels: Heels (I live near Miami; it’s gotta be the heels)
*eReader or Print: Both!
*Beer, Liquor or Wine: All of the above!
*Favorite place to get it on besides the bedroom: Anywhere is good :)
*Favorite TV Show: Supernatural (anyone who knows me won’t be surprised by this one)
*Favorite Book series (besides your own): Jeanine Frost’s Night Huntress series
*Pj’s or Lingerie: I must admit, it’s lingerie. I’m such a romantic, lol
*Vampires vs. Shifters: Vampires (beyond sexy!)

Your book sounds great and what a yummy cover! I will have to check out this series.
I've visited NOLA once, and we went to Bourbon St on a Tuesday night. I was amazed at how busy and crazy it was so I can only imagine how insane it must be on the weekends, or during Mardi Gras.

Great new cover. I have not read this series yet. I'm going to have to check it out. Thanks for the giveaway.

I have never been to NOLA and I live in Texas. Been to the boats in Lake Charles but that's it.
I love the cover.

Great interview! I have to agree that Bones is a yummy hero and that I love reading Jeanine Frost's books. I have never been to Nola but I want to someday. Rosalie is a woman after my own heart - wine and chocolate...what can be better! Thanks for the giveaway!

I really liked this book. It had lots of other-worldly characters to love and hate, as well as a wonderful romance. It was also fun to see each character reveal powers that were unique to the individual. I like the new cover.
Hi, Rosalie!
You are a 'new to me author' but I already feel a kindred spirit to you. Chocolate lovers unite!

Just popping in to say hi. I've already read Blood of the Demon, and Heart of the Incubus (both fabulous), so don't count me in for the book contest.

I have never been to NOLA, but I want to get there one of these days it sounds like an entertaining place. Blood of the Demon is on my TBR list, I hope to read it soon and I am right there with you watching Supernatural.

Thanks for a fun post and giveaway! I've read such positive reviews for your books, you're definitely at the top of my wishlist :)
Have fun at the conference!
This sounds like a great series! I, too, am a Supernatural fan. Do you watch it because of Sam or Dean? Or both? Lol.
I agree with the ladies above, Love the cover!
I haven't had the chance to read a story of yours yet, but am adding these to my TBR. Thank you for the giveaway and the interview. :)

Don't enter me because I can't read e-books. I have to say that Grimm stole my heart in KMM's To Tame A Highland Warrior. And Supernatural is one of my all time favorite shows with Sam and Dean Winchester.

Yay heels! :D
Really like the premise of your book, Rosalie! And your interview answers.
:X Don't know if I should admit this to you... but while I've read Jeaniene Frost... I haven't read the Cat & Bones books. Although I did just read a Christmas novella with them today - with Bones's relative[s]
I can't wait to hear everyone's AAD stories!
I agree with you about Bones & wine as a color - yes please!
marypres(AT)gmail(DOT)com
Yes, Chocolate, of course! It's one of the main food groups!

Popping in to thank all of you for your comments! Good to see so many Cat and Bones fans out there. ;-)
For those of you who've read the story, thanks for showing your support. For those who haven't, hope you like it!
Tina B., both Supernatural boys are yummy, but I'm a Dean girl at heart, lol.
Sandy B., I love the color wine: it's the perfect shade of red in my opinion.
Limecello, while both are good, I'm much more of a fan of Ms. Frost's Night Huntress series than her paranormal romance. The Christmas antho novella is one of my favorite stories!
The plot of this book sounds great and I loved the interview questions.
Everyone else can have Dean, for I am a Sammy Girl.
Count me in as someone who loves Cat, Bones, Vladimir, etc.
Question for you - why do you consider yourself nerdy?
(Autocorrect inserted "needy" instead of "nerdy". That would've been awkward!
Darnit - forgot to put my email address again!

Lol I just love how wine is your favourite colour and chocolate your favourite food, great choices, especially combined together! ;-)
Lol good to see you can't choose only one favourite colour either, it changes with my ever mood as well :-)
Glad to have discovered you and your books, there just aren't enough yummy ménages :-)

What a fabulous cover!
Rosalie, I get your blog posts and have found them wonderfully well written and informative.
Ali, I found this blog posting through Limecello's! I'm planning on diving into the back posts.
Thanks!
