Simply Ali Spotlights Bronwyn Green!!

Today Simply Ali welcomes Bronwyn Green to her Authors After Dark Birthday Bash!!

Take a look at Immortal Curse by Bronwyn Green

Immortal Curse by Bronwyn Green

Witch Way, Book 1

Resplendence Publishing

Cursed by a witch, Ian O’Meara has been trapped between the world of the living and the spirit realm for the last hundred and fifty years. Annoyed by having his eternity interrupted by amateur ghost hunters, he reaches through the veil to Emma Boulton knowing she can see and hear him even if the others can’t. When he discovers she can also feel him, he decides Emma is the most exciting thing to happen to him in the last century. Suddenly, escaping his miserable curse isn’t quite so appealing.

Much to her dismay, Emma has been able to see ghosts ever since she was a child. Most of the time she ignores them, but Ian makes that all but impossible. With his dark, good looks and his brooding personality, he’s a gothic novel hero come to to speak. She knows she should help him toward the light, but the only place he seems to be interested in is her bed. Falling in love with the charming spirit is all too easy, but is a future together possible between the living and the dead?

You can read and Excerpt HERE.

Ali: Is there an author that makes you go all “fangirl?”

Bronwyn: I definitely have my fangirl moments – luckily, a lot of my very favorite authors are my very dearest friends. Brynn Paulin and Jennifer Armintrout top that list. I’m also a complete and utter fangirl for Maggie Stiefvater, Charles deLint and Becca Fitzpatrick.

Ali: If you could co-write with another author who would it be and why?

Bronwyn: Honestly, I don’t think I would. I have a hard enough time keeping my own head straight. I can’t imagine putting someone else in the mix. However, I love to brainstorm with other authors. That’s a blast.

Ali: What are you looking forward to most about AADNola?

Bronwyn: Not getting thrown in jail with Jennifer Armintrout – although, I fear that may already be a foregone conclusion. However, if I can keep Jen out of jail, I’m really looking forward to visiting some historic graveyards, getting a tarot reading, seeing friends I don’t get to see often, hanging with readers and our super awesome karaoke party!

Ali: The world is under attack and you are forced to run for your life. You only have room for one book in your survival kit, what book do you take?

Bronwyn: Ahhhhhhhhhh – can I take my iPad? No? Okay…then, I’m going to go with The Wild Wood by Charles deLint. It’s the book that reminds me of why I wanted to be a writer in the first place.

Ali: Who are your favorite literary characters? (Yours or someone else’s)

Bronwyn: So, so many…let’s see…I love James from Maggie Stiefvater’s Ballad, Raf from Abigail Barnette’s Bride of the Wolf, Alaska from John Green’s Looking for Alaska, Remy from Amanda Hocking’s Hollowland, Micah from my Overlord’s Chosen and Ian from my Immortal Curse (clearly, I could go on and on, but I’ll stop. For now.)

Ali: Are there any of your secondary characters you would like to give more life to?

Bronwyn: Let’s see… right now, my answer would have to be Meaghan and Rowan from the Witch Way series and Joseph from the Dark Destinies series.

Ali: If you friends were asked to describe you in one word what would it be?

Bronwyn: Quirky

*Favorite color: rusty brown and forest green (I know. That’s two – I’m difficult. ;)

*Favorite food: Um…all of it. Specifics? Let’s go with Greek food. :)

*Boots or heels: Neither I’m a barefoot girl

*eReader or Print: Ereader

*Beer, Liquor or Wine: Wine

*Favorite place to get it on besides the bedroom: Outside

*Favorite TV Show: Supernatural, baby!

*Favorite Book series (besides your own): Brynn Paulin’s Taboo Wishes for erotic romance and Maggie Stiefvater’s Gathering of Faerie for YA.

*Pj’s or Lingerie: Nekkid ;)

*Vampires vs. Shifters: Shifters!

A Dark Destinies Story

Resplendence Publishing

Elizabeth Louden has been chosen to provide Micah Bleddyn, the Overlord of Maelgwn, with an heir. However, she’s not interested in the honor. In a land where only men are allowed to use magic, women found to possess supernatural abilities are punished—often by death. She knows it’s only a matter of time before her secret is revealed.

Micah has no desire to rule his father’s empire, but after his older brother vanishes, he has no choice. Faced with invading forces, treachery among his own people, and now, a mate hell-bent on escape, he’s had enough. * Laughs * I have to admit I liked your part of trying not to get thrown into jail. Sometimes that is hard to do when you are around so many people you want to see!

Have fun and good luck

Ha! Bronwyn I'm a barefoot girl too. When I'm home I never wear shoes. I suppose it is because I grew up on a farm and was allowed to run around without them on.

Bronwyn - it sounds like you are a nature lover. Between your fav colours, barefoot preference and favourite place to get it on, you like to be outside!

Do you like camping? Hiking? What kind of activities?

Hi Bronwyn!

Your interview made me smile. I definitely want to hear stories about you and Jennifer Armintrout ... and jail. Either in it, avoiding it, or almost getting thrown there, because I KNOW there will be a ton of anecdotes. :D

I can't wait to hear stories about AAD! (Even while I know I'll be green with jealousy... Oh wait... ;P)
