Spooktacular Giveaway- Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of my Spooktacular Giveaway :-) It's finally Friday and I'm so ready for the weekend. We'll be starting off the Halloween weekend with a movie at the park tonight.

Onto Day 5 of my Spooktacular Giveaway...(Remember to let me know which book(s) you'd like to be entered to win)! Afterwards, I'll have rules and the question of the day):

Scandal of the Season
By: Christie Kelley

BLURB:

For ten years, Anthony Westfield, Viscount Somerton, hasn’t been able to forget the woman with whom he spent one scandalous night. When their paths cross again, he’s shocked to discover Victoria Seaton is an accomplished pickpocket. But Somerton leads a double life of his own. Working on an undercover assignment, he makes Victoria a proposition: pretend to be his mistress or risk ruin. Yet soon he’s tempted to turn their charade into reality and surrender to an explosive passion.

Victoria can’t believe the man who almost destroyed her life a decade ago is now threatening to unravel her secrets. But posing as his mistress at a holiday country party is a game she can play well. For just one look into Somerton’s eyes still weakens her with lust. And with Christmas fast approaching, every kiss they share under the mistletoe only makes Victoria fall more deeply in love.

Two Lethal Lies
By: Annie Solomon
Excerpt here

BLURB:

A love to die for...

On the run since his daughter was born, Mitch Turner has concealed a truth so dangerous, its discovery could jeopardize both their lives. But when a series of shocking murders hits their newfound home, the trail leads straight to Mitch. With the police out for blood and his daughter ripped from his arms, he has nowhere to turn—until a beautiful stranger offers her help.

Neesy Brown has made mistakes in her life, yet she refuses to believe this mysterious man is a killer. There’s a strength in his broad shoulders that draws her to him and a weariness in his eyes that she longs to ease. As the murders tear her small town apart, she vows to help Mitch find his missing child. But a cunning predator is pulling them deeper and deeper into his fatal game. And the price of losing is the child—and the future—they could both share...

I Love This Bar
By: Carolyn Brown

BLURB:

Funny, sexy, and sure to appeal to the huge audience of country music fans, this new trilogy features the Honky Tonk beer joint and its succession of lovelorn owners.

Serving two counties, one wet and one dry, the Honky Tonk is the gathering place for every hothead, thirsty rancher, and lusty lady looking for a good time. Owner Daisy O'Dell vows she'll run the place until they drag her cold dead body through the swinging doors. That is, until the day Jarod McElroy walks in, looking for a cold drink and a moment's peace from his ornery Uncle Emmitt.

The minute Jarod sees Daisy, with her hot looks and smart mouth; he knows he's met not only his own match, but Uncle Emmitt's as well. Now, if only he can convince her to come out from behind that bar and come on home with him…

Simply Irresistible
By: Jill Shalvis

BLURB:

Maddie Moore's whole life needs a makeover. In one fell swoop, Maddie loses her boyfriend (her decision) and her job (so not her decision). But rather than drowning her sorrows in bags of potato chips, Maddie leaves L.A. to claim the inheritance left by her free-spirited mother-a ramshackle inn nestled in the little coastal town of Lucky Harbor, Washington. Starting over won't be easy. Yet Maddie sees the potential for a new home and a new career- if only she can convince her two half-sisters to join her in the adventure. But convincing Tara and Chloe will be difficult because the inn needs a big makeover too.

The contractor Maddie hires is a tall, dark-haired hottie whose eyes-and mouth-are making it hard for her to remember that she's sworn off men. Even harder will be Maddie's struggles to overcome the past, though she's about to discover that there's no better place to call home than Lucky Harbor.

Other than my oldest boy's last soccer game is Saturday morning which I may opt out just to keep an eye on my Cynder girl and her five pups. Then Saturday night is trick or treat where I'll go walking with the boys.

Plans, Yes!! My husband only has Sunday's off and usually I end up having to take the kids by myself since he get's home around 8pm. I am so excited to have him home this year that I can actually make plans knowing I wont have a heart attack trying to wrangle the kids by myself. So I planned a trip down to main st. for the annual Halloween paradee with free hot dogs afterwards and then on to the trick or treating in our neighborhood and some good scary movies when we get home :)
