2009 Simply Ali's Simple Challenge

Okay, this year I told myself that to save money... you know with a new house and all, lol... that I would cut my book buying habit. *gasp* I knowww, lol. It's not all that bad, though ;)

This year I told myself I would only buy one book a week... hey, trust me, that's cutting down for me, lol

Now, here's where you come in... for many of the weeks I already know which books I'll be buying (having many auto-buy authors and books I'm looking forward to)... but, for the weeks I don't know what to buy, I'll put up a post asking for recommendations. If I pick the book you recommended, you'll get a $5 gift certificate to an online bookstore (Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, or Borders) or to an online ebook publisher, where available.

For the first full week of January I've already picked a book and will share what it is tomorrow *bg*

I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the New Year!

Hello Ali! I love this idea. I got many books to recommend :)

The Accidental Demon Slayer By: Angie Fox. This is one of the best Paranormal books I have read in 2008.

Devil May Ride (Ghost Dusters Mysteries, No. 2) by Wendy Roberts I just finished reading this one and loved it. If you haven't read book 1 yet I would say start with book 1 first. This is a very good mystery series.

To Catch A Cheat By Kelley st. John. This was a hilarious read loved this one.

Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy By Leslie Langtry. This is book 1 in her series. This is a keeper and I am now reading book 2. I think you would really like this one of you like mystery with romance. Leslie has a great sense of humor and this was a fantastic read. Book 2 is Guns will keep us Together. Starts off very funny as well ;)

The rest of these books are all ones that I adored. Some of them are reviewed on my blog.
