Length: Novella
Genre: Contemporary
Excerpt from Ellora's Cave:
Even though she's a nurse at a sperm bank, meeting young, virile professionals every day, Natalie Watson's relationships always seem to suffer from "stress fractures". With a hopeless prognosis, she seeks metaphysical help. The tea leaf reader tells her there's a perfect man for her, but she might have to change her definition of "perfect".
Shane (Crusher) Derby, owner of Derby Demolition, takes out his aggressions all day long by blowing up buildings and smashing the contents. He couldn't be mellower until the nurse in the adjacent building tells him to keep it down. He's making her donors jump and miss their cups. And he has the nerve to think it's funny.

Thanks for featuring me, Ali. I'm looking forward to those questions! You know how I deal with interviews, right? The same way I deal with everything else--by having as much fun as possible!
Mmuuhahahaha!

Hi Ashlyn,
When did you decide you wanted to be a writer and when did you actively start pursuing the dream of becoming an author?
Hey Christy,
I decided to pursue writing while I was a nurse and feeling an acute lack of creativity in my life. I took a screenwriting course. Dynamite experience for learning how to plot, "show" characters and their quirks, and write tight. There's no room for rambling in a movie (120 pages of script max for a 2 hour movie!)
I'm glad I have a venue for this in books and novellas now. Trying to write for Hollywood from 3,000 miles away and having no contacts was pretty optimistic of me! LOL.
Hi Ashlyn. Demolishing Mr. Perfect sounds great. I love books that are humerous. Love the cover. Very sexy.
Isn't he yummy! When I got the cover from the Ellora's Cave art department, I sent them an e-mail saying, "Wow! Talk about perfect!" LOL

Hi and welcome,
What was your reaction the time you got 'the call' saying your first book was accepted?
Hi Robin,
What a great moment to remember! All my buddies were off at a writer's conference and I couldn't go 'cuz I didn't have the money. :( I saw the offer in an email and whooped and screamed and jumped around the room feeling silly since I was alone at the time. I emailed everyone I knew and my dh took me out to dinner.
I still remember where we went. Applebees.
Ash
Hi, Ashlyn,
I love your titles, especially "Heaving Bosoms". It's good to meet you. I saw you at Brenda Williamson's group today.
